Tayourt Lodge
Decades before the name of the "Magic Bay" appeared, when Imsouane was still a fishing village barely known to surfers, there was already a house built and designed to have the most panoramic view on the part of Imsouane most surrounded by water, the one that looks most like an island.
Tayourt was designed and built, with local materials, as much as possible in accordance with the landscape, in a spirit of biomimicry and bioclimatic, combining the authenticity of Morocco, the Spirit of Surfing and the comfort of a high standard accommodation.
Since more than 20 years, the regulars of this unique house in Imsouane like to use a slogan, a little secret known only to purists, to name the view and the atmosphere of this place:

It is because we have known, as pioneers, the evolution of Imsouane and its history, that we have decided
to give substance to the names,
to respect the spirit of its symbols,
and to reconcile the original tradition of hospitality of this house with the modern standards of a high standing accommodation
Tayourt : name in Tachelhyt (Berber dialect) which means both, wave and small moon

Its 6 bright double rooms with private bathrooms are furnished and decorated in a minimalist and beldi chic way, they all have sea view and share a patio, exclusive to our guests.
All our furnitures are thoughtfully produced and handmade by morrocan craftmen and women honouring old traditions and local materials.

The collective spaces of Tayourt have been designed to offer both privacy and gathering.
Tayourt has 5 terrace areas, the garden, the oriental pergola and its western alter ego on either side of the restaurant, the patio, and the house terrace.
